Epilepsy Awareness

Help us spread epilepsy awareness

  • International Epilepsy Day: Celebrated each year on the 2nd Monday of February, International Epilepsy Day is a chance to inform others about what it is, how it’s treated, and how to help others with it.
  • Purple Day: Purple Day® is the Global Day for epilepsy awareness and is celebrated annually on March 26. 2025 Purple Day will be on Wednesday, March 26th. Look out for more information as Purple Day gets closer
  • Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy Awareness Day: Created by the Brossard family in honor of the death of their daughter Brenna, SUDEP Awareness day is used as a way to inform others about the seriousness of SUDEP. SUDEP Awareness day is held annually on October 26th. Share this flyer (link the flyer) to help us spread awareness in Northeast Ohio.
  • National Epilepsy Awareness Month: Since 1969 (and officially signed by congress in 2003) the month of November has been National Epilepsy Awareness Month. Many epilepsy organizations have used this month as a way to shine the spotlight on those affected by the disease.
