Annual Gala
Mark your calendars for the Epilepsy Association’s 35th Anniversary Gala on Friday, November 6 at Windows on the River!
Celebrate Epilepsy Awareness Month by joining us for an evening of live music, featuring dueling pianos, silent auctions and raffles, fine dining, and awards presented to dedicated advocates and leaders in the NEO epilepsy community.
This year’s theme is Ebony and Ivory. Guests are encouraged to dress in black and white, as well as purple, the color of epilepsy awareness.
All proceeds fund free services for adults with epilepsy, families of a child with epilepsy, and free epilepsy education programs.
We are looking for local businesses to donate items, gift cards, and baskets to include in the Gala’s silent auction and raffle. If your company or one you know may be interested in donating, email bulrick@epilepsyinfo.org.
2025 Award Honorees
This year, we were pleased to celebrate MetroHealth’s Ebru Erbayat, MD as our Legacy Award winner. You can watch a video about her here on our YouTube page.
The Professional Caregiver Award was presented to Cheryl Chaney, MA, also of MetroHealth. You can watch a video about her here.
We also recognized Mark Livingston with the Family Caregiver Award, for his hard work as a single parent to his son David, who has epilepsy and autism. You can watch a video about him here.
