Annual Golf Outing

The outing is a scramble-style 18-hole tournament played at Sweetbriar Golf Club. Includes lunch, refreshments, and a golf cart for each foursome. Prizes are awarded to the top overall foursome and winners of golf games. 

We will also present the Humanitarian Award in Honor of Chris Spirnak to an individual who has gone above and beyond raising awareness for epilepsy and contributing to the Epilepsy Association mission. 

Outrace Epilepsy! 1-Mile, 5K, & 10K

Outrace Epilepsy! is an action-packed morning for people of all ages, whether you’re a competitive runner or prefer a relaxed walk. There will also be activities for kids. 

Participants may form teams to collect pledges and raise epilepsy awareness. The top fundraising team will be recognized in the event’s closing ceremony.

Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in the 5K and 10K by age and gender.

To celebrate Epilepsy Awareness Month each November, friends and supporters of the agency gather for an evening of fine dining, silent and live auction packages, live music, and dancing. Guests are encouraged to wear purple, the color of epilepsy.

Awards will be presented to outstanding members of the epilepsy and healthcare communities for their dedication, advocacy, and contributions to the field.

Annual Winter Walk

The Winter Walk is an indoor, 1-mile walk where participants form teams and raise donations that support our free programs and community services. The event also includes family-friendly activities and live entertainment.

Each year, we also recognize a Featured Family, who have a child with epilepsy and inspire others with their dedication to awareness.
