Mission Statement
The Epilepsy Association is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to helping people cope
with and manage seizure disorders by improving their quality of life, while empowering and
enabling individuals to reach their full potential within the community.

Virtual RunnerRunners are once again being
recruited to help turn their race miles into something more! Reach out,
sign up, and join the Virtual Running Team. Competition begins August
1 and ends October 31. Click here to register or support your favorite runner.

GalaThe 2010 Gala will be held on Friday,
November 12 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at The Ritz-Carlton. This year, the Legacy
Awards for contributions to the epilepsy community will be presented to
KeyBank, and Kim Merner, MSN, APRN-BC, the Cleveland Clinic Epilepsy
Center. |

Nominations for the 2011 Winter Walk feature

Feature Family Nomination Form
The Epilepsy Association needs your help to select the 2011 Winter Walk Feature
Family. The 2011 Winter Walk committee wishes to recognize families who exhibit
courage and commitment in coping with epilepsy. This is the first year we are
taking family nominations, which is why we are asking for your help to find
these amazing families! Help us recognize and honor those who are living with
this disorder by completing the nomination form and submitting it before Friday,
September 24.
Then on January 22, 2011 join over 600 supporters of the Epilepsy
Association by participating in the sixth annual Winter Walk for Epilepsy. It's a great way
to help increase awareness about epilepsy! Bring the
whole family to this indoor walk at one of two locations at the malls in Mentor or
Strongsville. More details to follow.

About the Epilepsy Association
The Epilepsy Association is a nonprofit organization located in Cleveland,
OH that assists children, families, and adults in Northeast Ohio who are
struggling to deal with the difficult challenges epilepsy can present. For
more than 35 years, the agency has been offering a range of services to
individuals affected by epilepsy in an 11-county area of Northeasy Ohio.
