Purple Day® is the Global Day for epilepsy awareness which is celebrated annually on March 26. We will celebrate the 2017 Purple Day® in Cleveland with two weeks of celebrations from March 12-18 & 19-26. To help raise awareness in NEO, we are organizing a grass-roots campaign with a call to action of wearing the color purple and planning community activities around the city so others can get involved. And, we need your help by participating in our restaurant nights, shopping event, and more to celebrate Purple Day® in Cleveland. Click here to see a full list of activities.

Purple Day® Power Lunch:
Topic: Seizure Dogs
EA is hosting a Purple Day® Power Lunch on the topic of Seizure Dogs. A physician speaker will be presenting on this topic along with a parent panel that includes a Q&A session. The Power Lunch is scheduled for Wednesday, March 22 from 12:00-1:30 p.m. at EA. Tickets are $5 and spots are limited to the first 40 paid RSVPs. Tickets can be purchased online through our website. Celebrate Purple Day® at the Monsters game!
The Epilepsy Association has teamed up with the Cleveland Monsters to celebrate Purple Day® on March 26. Join EA and the Monster for Kids Day and our Purple Day® celebrations with discounted club seats, epilepsy trivia, and more! Get there early to see our Winter Walk fundraising winners do the puck drop and don't forget to wear the color purple! EA will also have a concourse table where we will be passing out Purple Day® ribbons, stickers, and more!

Help support the EA by hosting a donation based office/school fundraiser or jeans day the weeks of Purple Day®. EA hopes to expand the number of companies and schools that host Purple Day® awareness and fundraising activities and grow the overall success of this campaign. EA has a call to auction for Clevelanders to join our efforts and wear the color purple during our purple weeks. This will allow us to raise greater awareness of the condition while showing support for the epilepsy association and raise awareness about epilepsy. Don't forget to take photos and share with us on social media how you are supporting Purple Day® and wearing purple. Get others involved! We have free stickers you can request and encourage you to pass them out at work or school. Stickers are free but why supplies last.
